– Prof. Santoso Cornain –

We are shocked by the passing away of a very dear friend, a great and dedicated teacher and scientist. Prof. Santoso Cornain combined these great gifts with a contigious sense of humor and “savoir vivre”. We will never forget the trips he joined us on, his presence with PhD ceremonies – also in Leiden – the meetings in his “blue room”. Thanks to him there is a strong and active Female Cancer Program (Female Cancer Foundation) and are we able to fight cervical cancer in Indonesia, together with our friends from the University of Indonesia. Our sympathy is with his family, friends an colleagues. His name will always be connected to “our fight against cervical cancer world wilde”.
