Read an interview in OneWorld about the situation in Nepal 8 months after the earthquake here.

"One problem: goods needed to rebuild the country can only get there
through via the Indian side. The two - Chinese - border crossings are not usable for large
quantities of goods because they go right through the mountains, only reach Kathmandu after 3,000 km and
partially not yet reconstructed after the earthquake. In short, fuels, medicines and
goods no longer enter Nepal. As a result, the humanitarian situation is worsening rather than
of improving"
