SLOPB
FCF has partnered with SLOPB in southern Bangladesh. This organization has a Mother & Child hospital with satellite clinics. Since many women already come here, we can reach them relatively easily. With the use of a mobile clinic, we are increasing the accessibility.
After an initial meeting between the Female Cancer Foundation and SLOPB in October 2012 at the Mother & Child clinic in Bangladesh, the idea of working together emerged. This would allow us to develop a sustainable See & Treat program where local physicians are trained to learn about and continue FCF's work.
Friendship
In 2012, the Female Cancer Foundation started a partnership with "hospital boats" of the Friendship Foundation in Bangladesh. Bangladesh suffers from numerous floods, making areas of Bangladesh very difficult to reach, especially the northern river area of the Char.
