Nepal trip

As a result of the anniversary lunch with 90 women, in early February the idea arose to travel to Nepal with a group of women to visit an FCF project. On November 19 we left for Nepal with 4 women to visit a See & Treat camp, where women are screened for free for the preliminary stages of cervical cancer and if necessary also treated immediately We were expected at the Nepalese parner organization Nepalese Network for Cancer Treatment and Research (NNCTR) in Kathmandu. Nepali president Dr. Surendra showed us around the various activities at the screening camp. At that time many Nepali women were already lining up and the previous day 400 women had already been screened. Very impressive to see the real field work for once as a board member. Afterwards we spoke with Dr. Surendra and a few people from his team. Super sweet dedicated people and very nice to see so many women coming to the screening camp to get screened. My traveling companions were also very impressed and have been involved with FCF ever since. One of the women gave a party last Saturday and requested a donation for FCF as a gift. It promises to be a great collaboration with our Nepali partner in 2017.
